I am making a horror teaser trailer that follows the story of a rouge conductor making an army of his evil puppets. To achieve this I plan on having quite a fast-paced trailer with one longer scene at the end. I want quick smooth cuts and I will have 6 different scenes with no narration in the background just music and a few sound effects such as Bram. The main plot is gonna follow an orchestrator/conductor who is turning a group of people into puppets for his strange orchestra of people he has killed. My trailer will reveal a fair amount of the plot but will show different scenes and shots I feel will be most effective. I am doing this as I feel it will have the best effect and not give away the whole storyline. My first scene will be in an old farm where I plan to make it seem like people are hanging from a barn. I will then cut to an old house and a grand piano being played with no one to be seen playing it. Next, I will quickly cut to some lights flickering and then a scene of some people trying to get away from my main antagonist as he is trying to kill them. Lastly, I will have a longer scene in a forest with the orchestrator making his people move like puppets tied in the trees. I plan on using a song called "Nurses Office" as it fits very well with my theme. In addition, the name of my film/teaser is going to be "Orchistrater". I will be using an organ in a local church for one scene and a few other props I have got for the teaser. Lastly, my lighting throughout the film will be dark and dingey to evoke a feeling of horror to the audience.
